In a community built on logging and ranching, there was no room for excuses—only accountability.
Steve dedicated his career to public service, serving as a Sheriff’s Deputy and rising to Captain with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office in Nevada. Over decades of service, he led officers, protected communities, and remained focused on keeping families safe.
Now serving as your representative, Steve Kelly continues to bring that same steady leadership to Helena—standing strong for public safety and the people of House District 9.
